As a system integrator they offer complete mobile computing solutions to integrate handhelds/ smartphones into the major groupware environments. Part of their services are requirements analysis, working out possible solutions, implementing the chosen solution, developing individual software, delivering hardware, installation, training courses and maintenance. Comdirect AG has successfully integrated handhelds and smartphones into Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange environments for more than 230 well-known Swiss companies.
COMDIRECT AG PDA DRIVER PACKAGE
Many companies using the OneBridge Mobile Groupware server-based synchronization solution have the same cost-intensive problem. The users do not have local administration rights at their workstations, and cannot thus functionally connect and use devices (Smartphones/PDAs), since the operating system does not include the USB drivers for the devices in question. Generally, this means that a support staff member has to come on site. Alternatively (in the best case scenario), the support worker can install the USB drivers on the relevant workstations using remote access.
Thanks to the Comdirect PDA Driver Package, this file can now be installed using Microsoft’s software distribution system, or a third-party software distribution tool, and is thus integrated directly in the Windows XP Operating System. This means that we can offer you a professional option allowing users to successfully install devices at their workstations without third-party assistance, labor-intensive remote access or special local administration rights.
